Roatan offers the best of diving, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and all other sorts of water sports and fun activities. It is situated just a couple of hours flying from the US off the coast of Honduras, and includes the world’s second largest coral reef that’s waiting for you to explore.

The Beach House At Half Moon Bay – West End

The Beach House is actually the only beachfront hotel found in Roatan’s in West End. The place is well kept and staff members are helpful and accommodating.
The Beach House offers stunning views of the bay and sunsets, and the place is known for the great complementary breakfast offerings. The Beach House is situated near all restaurants and dive operations so you won’t need a car, and the rooms come with a well-equipped kitchen.
Tranquilseas Eco Lodge and Dive Center – Sandy Bay

Tranquilseas offers six very spacious and immaculate bungalows, each with its own special local color, character, and design. Many people prefer this sort of accommodation to the rooms available at the big resort chain hotels.
The place has a very intimate character so you’ll get to interact with the other guests easily. You can enjoy the dive center or take a scuba course. Tranquilseas belong to the most environmentally sensitive resorts around.
Hotel Chillies – Half Moon Bay – West End

Hotel Chilies offers small private cabins with screened windows and wooden louvers, rooms with a shared bath and kitchenette, and the new mango suites are wonderful to get a breeze from the nearby beach.
The hotel is just off the road and situated among mango and rubber trees. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly and there is a library, a vintage clothing shop, and a nice food stand for breakfast and lunch. There is no A/C, but the place is clean and the ceiling fans will keep you cool.
Chillies is across the street from a very beautiful beach with all sorts of dive and snorkeling options. Sundowners, a popular bar, is also within walking distance, and here you can find good food and plenty of ice-cold beer. Directly in front of the hotel you can find Native Sons Dive Shop.
Posada Las Orquideas – West End Bay

Posada Las Orquideas is a quiet and secluded lodge, not directly at the heart of West End, but just a 5 minute walk away from all the action. The place has a few rooms that come with a kitchenette, so make sure you’ll book this type of accommodation if you want your own cooking corner!
There is no restaurant on site, but there are two eateries around the corner. This is an amazing little spot hat offers the most spectacular ocean views. The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly, and they’ll go a long way to make your stay enjoyable.
They have a sister location (Arco Iris) at the beach, but at Posada’s the rooms are brighter, and right next door you can find the Seagrape dive shop.
Barefoot Cay – French Harbour

This place offers an amazing experience from beginning to end. They’ll pick you up from the local airport, and they offer bungalows that have a full kitchen. The bungalows are well appointed and include anything you need to make your stay comfortable.
From diving to dining, everything is taken care of wonderfully at Barefoot Cay, and the accommodation is spotless. The staff is welcoming and attentive to the smallest details that so you’ll have a great stay here. Diving is available on-property, and if you prefer just some kayaking, snorkeling, or board paddling, they have a large lagoon for you to explore.
Barefoot Cay includes a clean swimming pool in a stunning setting as well that offers plenty of shade under the beautiful trees.
